Receive your child: 2:30 pm
Location: local adoption registration office
You will need: passports/travel letter/photos of each parent
You will have family photos taken and sign bonding agreement

You will need: passports/adoption application form and other
forms given the day before/wet tissue for
cleaning the red print from fingerprints
Notary interview for Birth certificate/ Adoption certificate/ Abandonment certificate

December 5 Nanyang Orphanage Visit day; the orphanage director invite the family to go over to meet the passport officials.
December 6 Sightseeing and Shopping
December 7 Receive Passport and Fly to Guangzhou - ZH9358 at 8:00am

Just a quick update... our TA for Zoe arrived Sat... along with our passports and Visas. Our flights are booked but Zoe's is still up in the air. My sister Brenda used her FF miles , I asked many times before I booked our flights if there would be any problems with a return fare only for an adopted child and was told no problem easy to do... Big Prob.. they made her book a RT ticket and you can not use one, its called throw away ticketing (my agency said so) and NWA could deny to board Zoe unless we buy a one way ticket in China. I know a few families that had that happen to them recently... not exactly a chance I want to take... So now we are scrambling to come up with her ticket... We also can not find the digital camera, and still do not have a laptop to take.... well I have 2 days .. except that I have to work Sun and Mon night... not sure what possessed me to do that ... oh yeah it that mortgage payment due the day we return. I dont know our itinerary yet but we will be visiting New Day Foster Home on Fri the 30th. More later.. please keep us in your prayers... especially Zoe and Desmond who is not looking so good right now. Thanks Bonnie

we have confirmed flights... we will be coming back on friday instead of weds due to limited flight availablity.
Thank you to all of those that have helped bring Zoe home. No matter the amount it is greatly appreciated. We did receive a grant and with so many wonderful people donating we are all set. thank you to everyone who helped in anyway. I do not have our travel schedule yet but hopefully soon.... Time to pack

Well I guess that I should start thinking about packing. 22 more days. I have thought about it... we have luggage locks, found 2  of the packs we are taking, getting the video camera all set to go... still need to find an adapter..????Have started filling the box of things for the orphanage. Have not heard exactly what our  travel plans will be ...I can not wait to hold this beautiful child and let her know that she is with us forever. I hope there is someway for her China mama to know that she is so loved and will be well cared for... I can not imagine the pain she must of felt or the desparation for her to let Zoe go to find a  Place where she could get the health care needed. She had Zoe for almost a year... as a mom I know that I would do anything to protect my kids I am just thankful that I have not been in the circumstances that Zoe's China mama was. What an awful choice to have to make. I will always be truely grateful for her deciding to place Zoe where she would be cared for until I could come get her. I am sure that part of Zoe's great personality comes from the first year she spent getting love and attention from her birth parents... Thankful to be getting the chance to love and raise this beautiful child.. It will indeed be a beautiful life Thank you to all of those wonderful people near and far that have felt drawn to help us in our journey. I have faith and that faith brings me peace.. thank you all
