august update

Please note: these four girls already have families who will be traveling to China to adopt them soon!

Xin Hui is very understanding and loving, ready to help the others. She is a little bit shy at first. She is the one with more vocabulary and every nanny said how smart she is.

New pics...newsletter update...ITs AMAZINGto see the difference a year of good care and love can make. here is Zoe on her first day at the center last Aug(2006) a little shellshock and looking like a little baby-toddler and here she is a year later looking like a young lady. She is wearing a dress that i sent in the last care package-may 2007-so we now know that she did get it... I am working with my employer and union to try and be award the employee adoption assistance "grant" but the union may be a breaker..

IAAP NEWSLETTER UPDATE AUGUST
July to August, we got some quite hot days! The windows are all open day and night and the kids seem to be growing faster in these hot days! Our four happy and beautiful birds! They are buddies and hang together each day in their classroom and playing room. They are posing with big smiles for Frank's camera.

her name

well i have ended the poll regarding Zoe's Name.the results
Zoe-68% 113 votes Zoey 15% 25 votes Zoie 13% 22votes Zoi -2 votes Zoye 1 vote and 6 votes for variations of Zoe.
Now we have been debating whether to give her name a twist like Zoella, Zobella but as of now her name is Zoe Isabella Xinhui.
I am slowly finishing everything that is needed for travel. I found Zoe the cutest Hello Kitty backpack with wheels for her to carry her most loved items. It was the last one on shelf and actually was on sale for $10 I think we are all set on things for Zoe except for her carseat which I am holding off on.
I will be adding things to Zoe's store, some musical waterglobes, and other items.. thanks for your support and prayers...Zoe's mama

One month LID

Well Its actually been a month since my papers were logged in At the CCAA. So since the only sure thing about China adoption is that everything is uncertain... some folks have been getting the loa's from 60-90 days after LID. That would put us getting the loa in sept/oct and hopefully traveling in Nov/Dec. but anything is possible.
What the great wall will look like when we see China

Best case would be that we are able to plan a month or more ahead to travel and that we will be able to book flights well in advance and be able to use the miles my sister Brenda and her boys are willing to put towards our flights.

new photos

Well I rec'd a brief note from IAAP saying that aren't sure whether Zoe has rec'd the care package sent in May. I hope so because there were dresses and shorts for summer. They did send me a new photo of Zoe. This was taken today in China and she has a big smile and looks wonderful. She is also wearing an outfit I sent in the oct care package. I believe it was an 18 mos size. The pant seem a little short but still she must be tiny.my daughter Kelli is doing a collage of a panda to auction/raffle off. She does amazing art
