ZOE WAS MOVED BACK TO HER ORPHANAGE..
Here is the message from her Foster Home supervisor
"XinHui cried as I hold her to down stairs, she cried for the nannies there, and even cried harder when we get on the taxi, then I talked with her, XinHui needed to get on the car, on the train and on the bus, to the orphanage to do passport and Mama will come to pick you home, she stopped at once and looked at me, said Mama come! I said Yes, your mama is coming to pick you up very soon. "


and yes I was in tears as I read it..

ONE MONTH COUNTDOWN

Travel Dates all Set

we have confirmed dates in China, now we need to lock down the planes. We are still short on the funds needed I am still waiting to hear back from some grants I have applied for ,hopefully it will be yes and this week.

Dates.
Nov 28(weds) - leave Roch 9 am--> DET -->Tokyo --> arrive Nov 29(thurs) 9pm Beijing
Dec 3 (mon) meet Zoe-not sure where yet
Dec 10(mon) CA- consulate appointment
Dec 12(weds) leave Guangzhou 7 am-->tokyo-->Detroit visit with Brenda and cousins
---> arrive Roch 5 pm still Weds

any advice on flying ..would be welcome.. Tevins first flights and my own that are longer than 2 hrs....
Please keep Zoe in your prayers that her SWI does not ask that she be sent back to her orphanage,which would cause more confusion and anquish in this little girls life.

Travel approval is here!!!! Please help

I just learned that my travel approval for Zoe is here. They want me to fly out the 3rd of Nov... thats 2 weeks away... and meet Zoe on the 6th or 7th and then fly home before turkey day... This is almost a month sooner... Unless I have a miracle of sorts I will not be able to travel then... there would be 5 other families traveling from IAAP at that time...
so now my plea... Please if you can donate any amount it would be greatly appreciated ... anyone donating can receive their choice of a bookmark ,red rubber chinese bracelet, a ladybug click bracelet, or a chinese coin or dragon necklace. please indicate which you would like in the comments of the paypal site

LOA and pics from china

Great news!!! I rec'd phone call from Cheryl at IAAP saying that my LOA will be in my hands weds and then needs to go right back. It should only be a few weeks until TA and then we can plan flights....I just can not stop smiling and saying "we're going to China" all the while doing the cha cha or my version of it. Also I confirmed with our local paper that they want me to write a series documenting our adoption 10 or 12 weeks until we return with Lil Zoe. All in all a great day and I even got 4 hrs of sleep!!!
